Madami ang nagsasabi na "Di porket me SLR ka Photographer ka na". And what do you call a person handling a camera ma pa SLR man yan o Digital Camera at kumukuha ng picture diba PHOTOGRAPHER. What makes the difference on having a high tech camera and a low tech camera di ba sila puedeng tawaging photographer, yun lang di professional photographer kasi di naman dumaan sa tamang training, but for me as long as you have a camera and you know how to take picture and you can bring as many stories in one picture you can be called as photographer...

"ONDOY"

It was saturday morning when text flooded my phone of students asking for help to organize a relief giving for the victims of ondoy. We started gathering funds to buy things that is needed by the victims, especially we prioritize their schoolmates that live within the vicinity of marikina and cainta. when looking back on the event through this pictures i remembered one of my student wrote in widely known newspaper "Even a smallest amount of rice that sometimes we took for granted was treated like gold...". Yes it was indeed a road trip with a purpose knowing that we have learned from what happened, and mostly we have given care for those who need it.

'STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN'

"STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN" I came accross to take a picture of this view on my way home from Baguio. This is i guess part of Tarlac, when i was a child i remember having chat with my friends with this somewhat same scenario. Laarni friend of mine told me that the heaven has open their door for the angels to come out and watch over us, where about 4 kids at that time staring at that scenario giving our interpretation to what we can see. Another friend of mine Luisa give her interpretation that the heaven open its doors so that the angel of death will come down and pick up the souls of dead people, but for me its a stairway to heaven where it open its gates and doors and lay down its silver shining stairs for those who come to him and follow his teachings and a ray of sunlight is scattered to bless all those who abide him....

"DUKLIGAN"

"DUKLIGAN" Dukligan is a fertility hut is such that it is where a married couple stays after a year of inability to produce a child. The Shaman performs a ritual offering  to male and female BULOLs. The couple will then stay in the hut for a month. if after the period expires and still they are unable to produce a child , the man has the right to find another woman, although the marriage is still in effect. The cycle is repeated and then the woman may now fin another man. The purpose of which us to determine who among the couple is infertile..

"MULTO"

 

"MULTO" this picture was taken during a academic planning in antipolo, during our rest period some of the faculty spend their time to swim in a warm water of this resort, while one of the janitor took this picture using my camera. when i got home after the event i noticed a somewhat blurred white standing on the red concrete post of the villa. Then when i got back from the school i took the chance on telling all the persons involved in this picture and they could not believed waht they saw in the picture. Some of them believed this is a real ghost and some of them has doubt in their minds, merely they say it could have been caused by the cold weather that may affect the lense of the camera. Ghost are believed to be a free flowing spirit of human who died of not yet finishing their purpose in this world that is why they are still here, malingering in the living world of humans, or maybe their just waiting for someone to pray for them to uplift their soul to heaven. how about you? do you believed in ghost? 

"ENROLLMENT"

"ENROLLMENT" I remember when i transfered in WCC year 1998 i was alone  doing all the procedure of enrollment. But when i was still studying in my previous school my mom used to accompany me during enrollment and i missed that!. Mom's really know best, her unselfish love and affection can never be exchange to any material thing in this world.
